Rathskellar Restaurant

The Rathskeller Restaurant has been around for over fifty years as one of the first restaurants in Indianapolis and surrounding states. The restaurant has been family owned and operated since the beginning when german immigrants started it after migrating to america. For years the restaurant has received awards for their tasty authentic meals, and fabulous hospitality. Their facility is popular for entertainment such as weddings, events, and oftentimes locals gather for the restaurant's live entertainment.
The facility at Rathskeller is one of a kind due to its large and beautiful spaces. Couples come to enjoy a fancy dinner in the dining room, where authentic german cuisine is served. Their dining room has over fifteen tables big and small. The space is candle lit at night giving off a very romantic atmosphere. They serve delicious steaks, a variety of seafood, chicken, pork, and vegetarian entrees. The Rathskeller also has an extensive wine list and beer menu.
The Kellerbar is another one of the highlights at the Rathskeller. The bar has stayed the same since the first opening of the restaurant with antique decor. The Kellerbar is stocked with over eleven imported draft beers, and fifty plus bottled beers from overseas. The Biergarten is a full-services indoor and outdoor walk-up bar, here they serve gourmet pub-style food.
At the Rathskeller guests are welcome to book events in one of their event rooms, where they can hold parties, weddings and receptions, banquets, and hold other entertainment. The Rathskeller also offers catering to any event held at their venue. There are two menus to choose from including: the buffet and family style menu, or the plated meal menu.
